It is unquestionable that playing live music can substantially help new music bands. Question however is that how it helps in getting recognition and name and fame to the band.

Playing Regularly at Pubs Help

• Newly formed bands will approach the night clubs and pubs.

• Such night clubs and pubs should be staging regular live musical acts so that they can be played in front of audience.

• Bands will carry with them demo CDs that could also be distributed among the audience to create publicity.

• Playing live music continuously in the pubs will help. As more and more people will listen to the music, the fan base of the band will increase substantially.

  

Gradual Expansion of Performance

Performance of the band should not be confined to a couple of pubs only. It is necessary expanding the arena of operation for making them stand out in the music industry and to get them the due recognition. Many celebrities were little known singers or musicians just like many others and it was the pubs and live music shows there that gave them the recognition they were searching for. Numerous such people ultimately shot up to stardom and had millions of fan followers at the end of it.

At times, despite being immensely talented, a band can get stuck up with a pub or in the club circles alone. Their potential is not fully exploited due to lack of chances. This is where luck plays its part. A small chance to play on bigger stage can give the musicians the much needed impetus to roll along.
